Report a defect
The issue tracker is the public record of reported problems and requested changes. Anything filed there remains visible to everyone, including the eventual reply, which is normally preferable for a technical question.
Report a security issue
Never in public. The security policy explains how to report one privately, and what happens afterwards.
Follow the releases
Every release is published with notes describing what changed and why. Watch releases on GitHub, or subscribe to the feed in any reader. Selecting Send me the release notes in the form arranges the equivalent by email.
Read first, perhaps
Most questions are already answered somewhere. The frequently asked questions cover November 2026, privacy, schemas and cost. The developer documentation covers every command and integration. Linking to the section that did not answer your question saves a round trip.
What to expect
This is an independent open-source project rather than a vendor with a support desk. Replies come from a person, usually within a few days, and there is no ticket number. Questions that turn out to be common eventually reach the FAQ, which is the most useful destination available to them.
